Tattoo removal, process and technique. By Luke Rajczuk
Laser Tattoo Removal by Medispa Institute in Houston, TX. www.medispainstitute.com This is a fairly old, multi-colored tattoo. The black ink and red ink will be removed the easiest, while the yellow, green, and orange ink will be difficult to remove. This video shows the first treatment. We used ice as an analgesic. Notice that the laser only selects for the black in this video. That is because the wavelength (1064nm) selectively targets the black ink. The 1064nm wavelenght is in the infrared spectrum which is not visible to human eyes. The laser used to remove the reds is in the 532nm spectrum which is the visible spectrum. We have not included that in this video because the flashing from the 532nm laser creates too much interference in the video recording. This treatment is performed by nationally certified laser specialist using state of the art, top of the line, fastest and most powerful laser on the market today, the c6 Medlite by Hoya Conbio, which is a q-switched 1064nm laser and 532nm qswitched laser.
