The tattoo is already pretty faded. The black is treated with a qswitched 1064. The qs1064 laser is in the non-visible spectrum, therefore you are not actually seeing the laser beam - you are seeing a reflection on the camera. Note that there is no whitening effect during this treatment. This is because we’ve already removed alot of the superficial ink, and what’s left lies deeper in the dermis. We are still treating the tattoo, the patient still feels the pain, but the pain is much less than when we started because there is less ink. We applied numbing cream prior to the treatment, we are using ice to give it temporary local numbing. All procedures performed by nationally certified laser specialists.
